Looking in the majority of clothing stores will reveal many styles and fashions. Lady’s clothes are hot! Only a handful of concepts can match the pleasure of window shopping for varying fashions until one piece grabs your attention. Window shopping can be very exciting, and of course, that is just another part of the whole shopping experience.

Recently, I took a stroll by my favorite retailer only to find that there were these adorable new styles called baby doll dresses. These beautiful styles were stylish, cute, chic, and everything I could every want in an afternoon dress. Then the real hunt started – where did the name “baby doll dress” come from?

Of course, the internet is always a cornucopia of informative history. What I found was that baby doll dresses did indeed have a long history in not only adult women’s apparel but children’s apparel as well.
