Giorgio Sant’ Angelo: Legendary Fashion Designer

It’s hard to believe that it’s almost been twenty years since the untimely passing of legendary American fashion designer Giorgio Sant’ Angelo. Where does time go? Although Giorgio Sant’ Angelo was considered one of the leading fashion designers of the 1960’s and 70’s, his name along with his quality designer clothing line–lives on.
In 2001, New York City decided to dedicate 7th Avenue “the fashion walk of fame.” If you’re ever in the area, look for the bronze plaques which honor American fashion designers. It’s there that you’ll find Giorgio Sant’ Angelo’s plaque which honors his legacy.
