Everyone knows that fashion is a huge circle that goes around ad nauseum. Trends come in and out constantly, but some evolve to become something truly inspiring. Let’s take a look at some of the old fads in women’s clothing that have found their place in the spotlight once again.

Leggings – Legging had their big heyday in the 80’s and early 90’s. While they never fully went away, they’ve had a huge resurgence in recent years. Unlike their predecessors though, they can now be found in patterns, or with lace trim.

Bright Colors – beloved by the children of the 80’s, colors so saturated they practically glow are making their presence known once again. This time, the trend has evolved into something a bit more tasteful, by mixing small selections of these colors with monochrome background prints.

The Trapeze neck – This style comes to us from the 70’s, and has seen little change since then. Often worn over leggings or jeans, these tunic shaped tops provide a large canvas for color, and a remarkably ability to mask body imperfections.

The Mod dress – a beloved icon of the 1960’s, this often a-line shaped dress has become a huge hit in stores this year. The Mod dress is generally seen with a geometric print, in a limited color palette. Short, sweet, and simple.
